IOT Conference 2025 @SMX Convention Center
On September 10, 2025, the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City was transformed into a hub for innovation and collaboration as it hosted IoTCon Philippines 2025. With the theme βResilience for All: Future-Proofing Communities,β the conference brought together a diverse mix of technology providers, system integrators, startups, policymakers, and enterprise leaders to explore the rapidly growing role of the Internet of Things (IoT) in shaping industries and communities.
The event featured an extensive exhibition floor where companies showcased solutions designed to make cities smarter, industries more efficient, and communities more resilient. Among the key exhibitors were Infineon Technologies, known for its robust semiconductor solutions that power many IoT devices; Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a global leader in electronic components and sensors; Tensei Philippines, Inc., a local IoT integrator advancing adoption in critical sectors; Milesight, which presented its AI-powered cameras and IoT gateways; YFC-Boneagle Electric Co., Ltd., with its infrastructure innovations; Kloud Solutions Inc., offering future-ready cloud integrations; Erovoutika, showcasing emerging technologies in mechatronics and robotics; and Philcom, the eventβs official connectivity partner ensuring seamless communication across the venue.
Beyond the exhibits, IoTCon 2025 provided a well-rounded program that blended thought leadership with hands-on innovation. Plenary sessions and breakout talks addressed critical topics such as smart city development, data-driven decision-making, automation in manufacturing, and the role of IoT in disaster preparedness. Robotics competitions and hackathon pitch finals highlighted the next generation of innovators, while B2B networking opportunities and policy roundtables encouraged stakeholders to discuss real-world applications, regulatory frameworks, and pathways for scaling IoT adoption in the Philippines.
The conference was further strengthened by institutional and community support from organizations such as the IEEE Philippine Sector, Philippine Data Guardians (PDG), and the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP). Their involvement underscored the importance of collaboration not only between the private sector and technology providers, but also with advocacy groups and academic institutions that are shaping the countryβs talent pipeline.
What stood out most was the sense that IoTCon was more than just another tech conference, it was a movement toward building resilient, future-ready communities. The conversations and demonstrations throughout the day reinforced that the future of IoT is not limited to devices and platforms, but to the ecosystems they enable. From enabling smarter energy management and transportation systems to improving public safety and healthcare delivery, the possibilities are vast, and the momentum is only growing stronger.
